# Local stack notes

Things that bit me, in order:

1. the dev CA has to be in the **system** trust store, not just the browser
2. `TANGLED_APPVIEW_HOST` must be a loopback IP, not `localhost`
3. the knot wants `/shared/owner-did` before it will start
